A Funeral Celebrant is a person who provides a memorial service or funeral that is personalized to the wishes of the family while focusing on the personality and lifestyle of the deceased. We have the only Certified Funeral Celebrant program in the Kansas City area. Designed for those who want a personalized and custom-designed ceremony, one of our Celebrants will help you create a service that reflects your wishes, beliefs, values, and cultural background. It can be as non-religious, spiritual, or religious as you want it to be. Our Celebrants are trained to help you decide how to celebrate the life of your loved one.
After choosing to use one of our Certified Celebrants, he or she will meet with you and your family to learn as much as possible about you and your loved one, and find the things that are most important to you. By carefully listening and asking appropriate questions, the Celebrant will begin to understand what your needs for a service might be. The incorporation of stories, pictures, songs, readings, poems, and memories about your loved one will help the Celebrant to officiate a meaningful ceremony so that you can concentrate on your family and honoring the life of the special person you cherish.
