goals at the Speaks Family Legacy Chapels is to make arrangements easier for the
families that we serve. We will be glad to help you place the obituary in the newspaper and will even be able to assist with placement in out-of-town newspapers. Just let us know which papers you want to include. Listed below you will find the contact information for our local newspapers.

There are sometimes options as to what sort of placement is available in the newspaper. Below are some of the more common options. The editorial policy of each individual newspaper will determine what is available to you.
CARDS OF THANKS This is an insertion in the paper where you thank people that helped you during your time of need. Typically people thank their Doctors, Nurses and friends.
OBITUARIES This details the personal data, background, funeral details as well as the survivors of the deceased.
IN MEMORIAMS This generally states the deceased's name and the date of passing, perhaps on occasion of the one year anniversary of the death. It is not uncommon for survivors to include a short poem that fits the occasion.
DEATH NOTICE The death notice gives detail about where the person passed on, who is survived by them and the location and date of the funeral.
