Roland and Beth Speaks originally founded Speaks funeral home in 1936. Since that time, three generations of family owners have been proud to serve the community, while making sure that the main focus of our staff will always be to honor the needs of the families we serve.
With so many funeral homes in the Kansas City area having sold to large out-of-town conglomerates, it is important to most families to know that our owners live right here in the area, attend local churches, and are involved in the local community in many ways.
